Art was raised in Studio City.  As his father was a builder in the area, he has had his hands in the construction business for most of his life and has an especially intimate knowledge of real estate in the Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Toluca Lake and Encino areas.  He has also remained very involved with the community, raising two daughters and coaching Girls soccer.  After graduating from California State University at Northridge, he pursued a career in government, working actively on the local, state and federal levels.  For two years prior to obtaining his Real Estate license he worked as the chief administrative officer for the Los Angeles City Attorney's office.

Twenty five years ago Art got his California Real Estate License and began working for his father.  He soon branched out on his own, obtained his Broker's license and had his own company for several years.  Since selling his company and joining larger real estate companies he has consistently maintained his status as a top producer specializing in estate properties.  Much of his success can be attributed to his connections with the film industry.  Over the years he has conducted transactions for such notables as Harrison Ford, Kate Capshaw, writer/directors Larry Kasdan and Robert Zemekis to name a few.  He also has very strong connections with the Million Dollar Estate Westside Brokers.  The fact is that in the higher price range it is a small community of top producing agents that generate most of the sales and they have a very strong network.  He has also been buying, fixing up and selling his own properties, (over 100 to this day).  He has invaluable experience in being a buyer and a seller and knows construction and design, and more importantly what sells.  Art has the knowledge to guide and assist you in every part of your real estate process.
